Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

A&A Inspections is a Melbourne-based building inspection business. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it. We aim to be straightforward about this — if anything is unclear, contact us directly.

1. Information we collect

We collect personal information when you submit a quote request or contact us through our website. This may include:

  • Your full name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • The property address you are enquiring about
  • Your preferred inspection date and property type
  • Any additional details you include in the notes field

We do not collect payment card details through our website. We do not collect information from you passively — only what you choose to provide through a form or direct contact.

2. How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your quote request, typically within 2 hours during business hours
  • Provide you with a price and available times for the inspection you have enquired about
  • Confirm and manage your inspection booking once accepted
  • Contact you by phone or email regarding your specific enquiry or booking
  • Deliver your inspection report following the inspection
  • Follow up with you if we are unable to reach you regarding a booked inspection

We do not send marketing emails or SMS messages without your explicit consent. If you receive a communication from us, it will be in direct response to an enquiry or booking you have made.

3. Email and phone communication

When you submit a quote request, we will contact you by phone and/or email to provide your quote and discuss your requirements. All communication relates directly to the enquiry or booking you have initiated.

We do not add your contact details to any marketing list. We do not contact you after your enquiry or booking is resolved unless you initiate further contact with us.

4. Website analytics

We may use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our website. These tools may collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the site, and the device and browser used. This data is aggregated and anonymous — it does not identify you personally.

If and when analytics are implemented on this site, this section will be updated to reflect which tools are in use and how data is handled. At present, no analytics tracking is active on this website.

5. Google Business Profile and social media

This website may include links to our Google Business Profile and Facebook page. These platforms are operated by third parties (Google and Meta respectively) and have their own privacy policies. Any information you provide or actions you take on those platforms are governed by their respective policies, not this one.

We do not receive any personal data from those platforms as a result of you visiting our website.

6. Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third party.

Your details are not shared with real estate agents, vendors, property managers, tradespeople, or any other party connected with the property being inspected. The information you provide is used solely to manage your enquiry and deliver your inspection service.

We may be required to disclose personal information if required by law or by a regulatory authority. We would notify you of any such requirement where legally permitted to do so.

7. Storage and security

Personal information submitted through our website is stored securely and accessed only by staff directly involved in delivering our inspection services. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access.

We retain your information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and to meet any legal obligations. Once no longer required, it is securely deleted.

8. Access and correction

You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct any information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date.

To make a request, contact us at inspect@aainspect.com.au or call 0449 121 883. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
